The short answer
Choose IP votes when the contest mainly limits repeated participation by internet connection. Choose CAPTCHA votes when every voter must complete a checkbox, image selection, question or another verification challenge before the vote is accepted.
If the contest also requires registration or an email link, neither basic option covers the complete process; signup and email votes are the closer category.
How unique IP voting works
A one-vote-per-IP rule records the internet address used for participation and blocks or delays another vote from the same connection. Some contests reset the limit daily, while others allow only one participation for the entire event.
The page may also store a cookie or browser session. That is why checking only the visible button is not enough: the complete flow should be tested through the final confirmation message.
- Best match: simple public polls
- Typical restriction: one vote per IP
- Possible additions: cookies, country filters and daily limits
- Not included: CAPTCHA, registration or email confirmation
How CAPTCHA voting differs
A CAPTCHA adds a verification task during the voting process. It may be a checkbox, image challenge, text question or a background check that appears only under certain conditions.
Because the challenge is an additional step, CAPTCHA packages are priced differently from standard IP votes. If a CAPTCHA is combined with account registration, the full workflow must be reviewed before the appropriate service can be confirmed.
- Best match: voting pages with a visible verification challenge
- Typical restriction: challenge required for each submission
- Possible additions: unique IP and country checks
- May require another package when signup or email is also mandatory
A five-step check before ordering
Use a private browser window so you see a voting flow closer to that of a new visitor. Follow every step and write down what is required before the final success message appears.
- Open the exact public voting URL
- Select the participant and press the vote button
- Check for CAPTCHA, login or an email field
- Confirm whether the result appears immediately
- Record country restrictions and repeat-vote timing
Comparison examples
Example one: the page accepts a vote, then says that the same connection can vote again tomorrow. This usually begins as an IP-vote request with a daily limit.
Example two: the page shows an image challenge before accepting the vote. This is a CAPTCHA-vote request.
Example three: the page asks for an email address and counts the vote only after a confirmation link is opened. This belongs to signup and email votes, even if the page also records the IP address.
What if you are still unsure?
Choose the closest service and describe the complete sequence in the order notes. Include the public link, desired quantity, deadline and required country. The voting flow is reviewed before delivery starts, and a different package can be identified when the initial selection does not match.
